About Edition Suecia
Edition Suecia was founded in 1930 by the Society of Swedish Composers to increase the publication of contemporary music.
Aim
In 1965 the administration of Edition Suecia was
taken over by the Swedish Music Information Centre, whose aims are to make
Swedish music more easily accessible and to promote its
performance.
Repertoires
Over the years approximately 400 works have been published. For the most part
the publications consist of contemporary classical music, but the catalogue also
includes jazz works and literary ballads.
Available Works
The catalogue contains works that are in stock or that can be sold as
photocopies. Works which have been listed in earlier catalogues can always be
obtained through the Swedish Music Information Centre.
