Hire material Edition Suecia

The hire rate is based on the duration of a work and the instrumentation, the number of performances and whether it is a first performance or not.

In the case of recordings a special rate per recorded minute applies to hire material.

Instrument abbreviations are based on the Italian name for the instrument or are shown as numerical designations in score order. Example:

3*233* 4331 12 0 str, pf/cel

means 3 flutes (one or all of which also plays piccolo and/or alto flute or bass flute), 2 oboes, 3 clarinets, 3 bassoons (with contrabassoon) - 4 horns, 3 trumpets, 3 trombones, tuba, timpani, 2 other percussions – no harp – strings, piano and/or celesta.
